The Lift and Shift approach is about migrating your application and associated data to the cloud with minimal or no changes. Applications are effectively “lifted” from the existing environments and “shifted” to a new hosting premises, i.e., in the cloud. As such, there are often no significant changes to make in the application architecture, data flow, or authentication mechanisms. The primary considerations in a lift and   shift migration are the application’s compute, storage, and network requirements that are shifted as they are.

Devices are pre-configured with encryption and chain of-custody tracking for compliance.
  • This includes effort for loading and ingestion, where device rental, shipping, and logistics are billed separately under Professional Service.

  • Connectivity charges like Direct Connect, Express Routes or IPsec VPN, or internet bandwidth charges are charged at an additional cost.

It provides consistent, scalable, and service specific governance for selected advanced services such as: Containers, Serverless, various DB platforms (SQL, NoSQL, Big Data), Network and Security services, AI Service, and Media services, etc.

  • This service can be subscribed to standalone or on top of the Prime and Priority Plan. 7% of the monthly service spend will be charged and applicable as per the overall monthly service spend, which is available on the CSP portal or OEM report.

Cloud Assure – Optimization (AZURE Cloud)  This service is powered by FinOps principles, helping organizations gain financial control, drive accountability, and maximize business value from cloud investments.

  • This plan is available with three engagement frequencies—Quarterly, Half-Yearly, and Annually, and billed monthly, and should be captured in the scope. Based on the selected frequency, charges are applied as a percentage of the monthly cloud spend as follows: Quarterly Engagement: 5% of quarterly cloud spend, Half-Yearly Engagement: 3% of half yearly cloud spend, Annual Engagement: 1% of annual cloud spend.
